The Americanist Research Group
at 红莲社区 explores the field of U.S. literary and cultural studies. Our members organize events in conjunction with the English Department’s speaker series, and promote scholarship in the field. We meet monthly to workshop conference papers, articles, and thesis and book chapters; to read recently published criticism in the field; and, in our “spin-off” reading section, to discuss contemporary American fiction.
